Pelahatchie experienced a snow day on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. During the day, many students were delighted to be able to sleep in; many went outside to take in the views, and others snuggled up by the fire with hot cocoa. The day gave many students opportunities to do so many things, especially when the next day was announced to also be a cancelled school day. There are varieties of activities that were done. When students were asked what they did to enjoy the snow, they answered with:

Carlie Edwards, senior:

“I rode around in the snow to see the pretty scenes.”

Jordan Gray, senior:

“I went to see my girlfriend so we could take winter photos.”

Skye Bowman, junior:

“I watched netflix all day.”

Eric Davis, junior:

“I played in the snow with my younger siblings all day.”

Grace Alman, sophomore:

“I spent time with my family.”

Wesley Anderson, sophomore:

“I enjoyed the snow all day.”

Brooklyn Ferguson, freshman:

“I played with my dogs in the snow.”

Jacob Jordan, freshman,

“The snow was very lit.”
