Have a Hauntingly Great Time with McClain Lodge

Are you looking to have spooky fun time this fall season? Well join McClain Lodge for their fall festivities. They have something for everyone in the family! Their festivities will include a pumpkin patch, spooktacular, and punkin’ chunkin for kids.

The pumpkin patch is open Monday-Friday from 12:00PM to 5:30PM; on the weekends it is open on Saturday from 8:30AM to 5:30PM and Sunday from 10:30AM to 5:30PM.

Admission will be $5 (admission waived with purchase of safari wagon tour ticket). It will be another $5 to pick your own pumpkin, and if one would like to ride the camel, it will cost an extra $5. This feature will be available only on the weekends. Activities at the pumpkin patch will include a hay maze, a hay slide, horseshoes, sack races, corn hole, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, pumpkin checkers, a photo prop area; on Saturdays there will be face painting for an extra charge.

The McClain Lodge Spooktacular will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 5:30PM to 11:00PM, and admission will be $10 for children 3-12 years of age and $20 for adults.

Activities at the Spooktacular will include dinner, a haunted hall, kid games, candy,  costume contest, $5 hayrides, and s’mores at the bonfire. Costume contest: family contest will be held at 7:00PM, individual kids contest at 7:15PM, adult couples contest at 9:00PM, and adult individual contest at 9:15 PM.

“Heck yeah I would go! My costume would for sure win the contest!” Brianna Galbraith, a 11th grader at PHS, exclaims while talking about her fall plans.

Punkin’ chunkin for kids will take place Saturday, November 3 and registration will be  from 9:30AM to 10:30AM. The contest will benefit Batson Children’s Hospital. A $5 donations to the hospital will also count as ones entry into the contest and a limited edition t-shirt will be given to those who donate. The best score in the adult category wins $1000, and the best score in the kids category will win $250 shopping spree.
