On Saturday, December 8, 2018, the Pelahatchie High School staff offered students to take the ACT. The ACT is a standardized test used for college admission. Some students say the test is hard, but other students say it is just precision.

The test is time-based. Students have multiple subjects math, reading, english, and science. Students can personally say how they  feel about it. Most students say they have to be prepared mentally, have a balanced breakfast, and get a significant amount of sleep (8 hours, no more no less).

The American College Test or the ACT has seen a gradual increase of test takers since 2011, so why not take a shot at becoming a grade a college student, especially if a student can make a very high score?

The ACT is given by the school, so it is free the first couple of times. When a student graduates, he or she then has to pay a fee of $70.

Saturday before taking the test, some people were talking about how they had 20s and 30s on their last test, and they were trying to get a higher score because there is more opportunity to get into college.
