Boys Soccer Wrapping Up

The soccer season is coming to an end. Last week the Pelahatchie boys played four games. Three of those were district games against St. Joe and St. Andrews. They didn’t win any of those. This week they had Senior Night Tuesday, and they played Philadelphia and lost 3:1. Senior Isaac Norwood scored a free kick, which earned them the one goal.

Trey Atwood is a senior at Pelahatchie High. He said, “I had fun this season and I am going to miss playing with all of my brothers.” The Chiefs will only be losing two boys this year considering that there are two seniors: Trey Atwood (left center back) and Isaac (center mid).

Freshman Kenner Doster said, “Isaac and Trey were great players; they always gave it their all, and they will be missed.” So far the boys have played 16 games with a record of 4-11-1.

Coach Creel said,“Trey and Isaac were both valuable players to the team they always gave one hundred percent;” I will miss them.”

Senior Isaac norwood said, “I love soccer and it will be what i miss the most from high school.”

The boys and girls play their last game this Saturday at Winona High School. Please come support!!!
